Kami's 4th Graders

What a fun afternoon! Mrs. White brought her 4th grade class over as part of a Pioneer and Utah History unit. We talked about wheat and where it is grown and then did a demonstration from start to finish on making whole wheat bread from scratch. We ground the wheat and then made it into dough. Mrs. White brought cream and they all took turns shaking a quart jar until it turned to butter which didn't take long. We served the children their very own butter and homemade wheat bread and jam. We made 31 little mini loaves for them to take home. What an awesome class and what an awesome teacher. I was lucky to have my little Brecklyn and Brinley in the class.
