High School Friends

When I was in high school we had a group of seven girls that we ran around with. We were all in the same ward as well. We called ourselves the "lucky seven". What great friends these girls are. We have remained friends throughout the years and usually get together at least twice a year for lunch. We met today at Sizzler. We had a hole in our circle of friends because last year, our sweet Jerry Limb Curtis died of breast cancer. How we miss and love her. We missed our sweet Gail Green Harris today because the lucky girl was in Hawaii. Sue Smith Limb has had quite a challenge this year. In August she found out she has ovarian cancer. She has been having treatment and chemo. We wish her the best and pray for her. Also there today was Ellen Boyter Stucki, Rachael Cox Bradshaw, and Marilyn Bradshaw Baldwin who is also my sister-in-law and myself. We had some good talks and laughs and tears. I am grateful for these wonderful girls who grew up in the little town of Manderfield and Beaver.

That is so neat that you all still get together because it is so easy to loose touch sometimes! Glad you had fun!
