I have always loved home canned green beans. My Mom taught me this. She liked to pick the beans real young and Dad teased her that she picked and canned the "blossoms." We have had good gardens this year despite the late start in the spring due to snow and rain well into late May. I have had a good crop of beans this year. I planted Blue Lake Bush Beans. So far I have canned 54 pints.
