Ten Years Ago Today

It's been ten years ago today that we lost our husband, sweetheart, father, son, uncle and best friend. How we miss this man. It seems like yesterday that this all happened and then again it seems like it has been so long since we have seen him. I am sure he would be so proud of each one of his children and how they are conducting their lives. He would be very proud of their accomplishmens. He would be proud of the wonderful young men and women, husbands and fathers, wives and mothers they have become. He would be proud of how they have carried on with their lives. He would be proud of the kind of leaders they have become. I know he is hapy with the spouses they have chosen. He would be proud of their chosen professions whether it be nurses, teachers, stay at home mom's, truck drivers, electricians, farmers, tire salesmen, container sellers or owners of their own companies. I know he is proud of your service in the church whatever calling it may be. He would be so thrilled with all of these little grandchildren and great grandchildren we have running around every which way always on the go going to soccer, baseball, football, violin, piano, dancing, school, guitar, basketball, swimming, scouts and cub scouts and the many other activities they are involved in. I just know that he watches over us everyday and he still cares about what we are doing. I know he loves us all very much and we will all be together someday. We love and miss you Dad. We have come along way in ten years but we never get over missing and loving you.

Love you Mom. You are such a strong person and I admire you more than you know. Thanks for being such a wonderful Mom and example to me and for being my Mom and Dad for the last ten years! I have especially missed Dad now that I have my own children. Thanks for this post, it was very comforting.
