I don't know about the rest of you but I ate way too much candy, cookies, ham, sugar and all of the other good stuff at Christmas time. It is now time to start back with the exercise and watching what I eat. They say the fastest way to loose a little weight is to cut back on the calories. Cutting back on 500 calories a day will help you loose 1 lb. a week. Here is a great recipe to keep in the fridge to help curb your appetite. It is good and low calorie.
WEIGHT WATCHERS ZERO POINT SOUP
Serves 6-7 1 cup servings
3 cups non fat beef broth or chicken broth but beef is the best
2 garlic cloves minced
1 T. tomato paste
2 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/2 cup frozen green beans
1/2 cup chopped zuchinni
1/2 teas. basil
1/2 oregano
salt and pepper
Spray pot with non-stick cooking spray and sautee the onions, garlic, and carrots for five minutes. Add all other ingredients except zuchinni. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until vegetables are tender then add the zuchinni and cook about 5 more minutes. 1 Serving (1 cup) has 21 calories.

Looks good! I think I am ready to chuck all of the candy out the window! I ate to much today and feel sick, so tonight for supper I was craving veggies! Thanks for the recipe!
